Chair (office)
I have lived in Laramie since 1991 when I
married my husband James. We built our passive
solar home with our own hands and with an
accessible design so we never have to leave.
I love Laramie because of the beauty and
proximity to cross-country ski trails and
rivers. I especially like the sense of
community. I am even fond of our climate,
because I believe it will keep Laramie from
becoming part of the Denver megalopolis. I
value our wide open spaces and our clean air
and water.
I am proud to be a Democrat because we are
the party that supports people over corporate
interests. I believe the government of the
people and by the people has a role in
protecting our common resources such as our air
and water. I believe that we should abide by
our laws and set and meet high ethical
standards. I support the entire Bill of
Rights, not just the 2nd amendment.

Vice-Chair (office)
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and
lived in Chicago for ten years. I moved to
Laramie in the summer of 2006 and transferred
to the University of Wyoming. Previously, my
interests included finance and political
science, but I have since changed careers and
am now becoming certified as a K-6 elementary
educator. I have worked as a precinct
committeeperson for two different districts in
the suburbs of Chicago and also as vice
president of the Northern Illinois University
College Democrats. During the 2008 election, I
worked for Project New West, a political
research firm in Denver and as coordinator for
the Albany County Democrats Headquarters.
